The agreement pertaining to holding 2009 meeting of IMF-World Bank in Istanbul was signed in Singapore. Turkey's Millenary Art on Display
In Italian Presidential Palace
An exhibition entitled "Turkey: 7,000 years of history" starts on January 11 in the Italian Presidential Palace and is scheduled to run until March 31. The exhibition consists of 43 works of art from four major Turkish museums. The exhibition was inaugurated on January 10 by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, and the President of Turkey, Ahmet Necdet Sezer. Exhibition "Istanbul: The City & The Sultan" was inaugurated in Amsterdam.
