Istanbul To Host IMF and World Bank

The agreement pertaining to holding 2009 meeting of IMF-World Bank in Istanbul was signed in Singapore. The consensus agreement was signed, on behalf of Turkey, by Ali Babacan –State Minister and Chief EU Negotiator– on behalf of IMF, Rodrigo de Rator –President of IMF– and on behalf of World Bank, Paul Wolfowitz, –President of World Bank. Turkey's Millenary Art on Display In Italian Presidential Palace

An exhibition entitled "Turkey: 7,000 years of history" starts on January 11 in the Italian Presidential Palace and is scheduled to run until March 31. The exhibition consists of 43 works of art from four major Turkish museums. The exhibition was inaugurated on January 10 by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, and the President of Turkey, Ahmet Necdet Sezer. Istanbul Exhibition In Amsterdam

Exhibition "Istanbul: The City & The Sultan" was inaugurated in Amsterdam.
